We are looking for a Sales Consultant 

The candidate should have a proven successful sales track record in acquisition sales for new business in a similar environment. The key is to build a pipeline of well-qualified opportunities within an agreed high level target account set. The candidate should have a perfect understanding of key milestones and activities of a successful sales process and should be able to develop and execute a winning sales plan for opportunities.

We are looking for a sales minded person with a strong drive to face both small and big challenges, an enthusiastic networker who wants to solve all connectivity problems.


  • Primary responsibility is to acquire new business within accounts that have not previously done business with Horizon Telecom;
  • Responsible for expanding existing customers from a few services to their full potential;
  • Generic understanding of the connectivity, (voice and data) market. Since we are Carrier-Neutral, we need you to be able to understand the offers from different vendors in a quick way, to match with customer requirements and understanding what type of technology, SLA and performance is offered and give transparent advice to the client;
  • Responsible for developing sales in the target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities with prospective enterprise customers headquartered in the region by using Social media, cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments;
  • Develop and implement sales plans that provide clearly defined strategies, tactics and timeframes to maximize revenue. Take ownership!
  • After having acquired new business, manage customer relationships in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and obtain additional business;
  • Continually learn and develop knowledge of new technologies and selling points including enhancing expertise in the company’s products and solutions; 
  • Working closely with project manager, service manager and carrier manager.


Job requirements 

  • Experience: 5+ years sales experience in a new business and/or business development environment;
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Experience selling connectivity solutions (voice and data); 
  • Pre: experience selling SD-WAN solutions; 
  • Proven experience hunting, prospecting, and new account development;
  • Proficient in English language;
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
